Witches, Magic, and Mystery

Paranormal reads for your Halloween reading list

With Halloween quickly coming around the corner Here's some great suggestions to add to your spooky (or not so spooky) reading list

Let's start with the classics

"This is the story of how a middle aged spinster lost her mind, deserted her domestic gods in the city, took a furnished house for the summer out of town..."

From the mind of the American Agatha Christie. No cozy list would be complete without a mention of The Circular Staircase. Rachel Innes, a middle aged spinster, has barely settled in at the country house she has rented for the summer when a series of bizzare and violent events threaten to disrupt her normally unflappable nature.

Rumors of ghosts, mysterious knocking, and many other frightening events have chased off much of the household staff, and when a body is found dead at the base of a circular staircase it's up to Rachel and her maid to solve the mystery.

Now for the New

From witches to genies, to fairies, to skeletons and ghosts

Halloween is a great time to try out some of these great cozy mysteries. From Morgan Vale's Charmed and Dangerous series to Karin Kaufman's Smithwell Fairies Cozy Mysteries.

Of course you can also try Leigh Perry's A Family Skeleton Mysteries. Or Esri AllBritten's Chihuahua of the Baskervilles.

So let's get Reading!
